Welcoming New Students to Academic Excellence

The welcome and Orientation Program for Fresh entrants of Northwest College of Rehabilitation Sciences was conducted in the institute’s auditorium. The program started off with recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a series of presentations and events pertaining welcome notes, an introduction of faculty, cake-cutting ceremony and a visit to the campus for the new students.
Dr. Subhan-ur-Rehman, Northwest College of Rehabilitation Sciences welcomed the new students and shared his valuable views with them. He highlighted the social and academic aspects of the institute and urged the students to follow the rules and regulations of the institute.
Today’s session is developed keeping your needs in mind which will help you find your place in this institute. Northwest is the name of the brand with high qualified faculty, health professionals and standards facilities in healthcare field. We hope to be able to help you with your fellows, knowledgeable faculty members and the state-of-the-art campus.
During the session, Dr. Uzair Ahmad, Assistant Professor Northwest College of Rehabilitation Sciences shared a detailed presentation on the history, evolution and scope of physical therapy. There is a great scope of physical therapy and a DPT graduate can specialize in various fields of physiotherapy, such as sports, neuro, pediatric and orthopedic physiotherapies.
Meanwhile, Dr. Syed Zain Ul Abidin, Assistant Professor shared a brief on the introduction to the Institute and the Northwest College of Rehabilitation Sciences and also shed light on the Northwest projects having state-of-the-art hospitals, a medical college and an institute of health sciences.
Later on, Dr. Kashmala Zia, Lecturer and Clinical Coordinator shared the faculty profiles with the students. The campus tour introduced the students to the college’s facilities, academic buildings, libraries, laboratories, and recreational areas, helping them feel comfortable in their new surroundings.
Dr. Saba Khan and Dr. Tayyab Awan, Lecturer, Northwest College of Rehabilitation Sciences made their valuable contributions in the organizing of the event with the help of the students of the fourth semester.
