Northwest Institute of Health Sciences (NWIHS) is registered with Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) and affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU). It offers BS programs in Nursing, Pathology, Radiology, Anesthesia and Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Students of 3rd, 4th & 5th Professionals complete their clinical training at Northwest General Hospital and Northwest Teaching Hospital. Which allows them to develop early skills and expertise leading to a professional approach.

Integrated Curriculum
Keeping in view the recent growth and advancement of Physical Therapy in the world, Doctor of Physical Therapy; an academic curriculum is developed to prepare Physical Therapists for independent practice by emphasizing areas such as Differential Diagnosis, Applied Pharmacology, Diagnostic Imaging, Health Care Prevention, and Practice Management meeting the competencies provided by American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). This program emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, a collaborative learning environment, strong faculty mentorship, and state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
