Northwest General Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day 2026 in collaboration with Northwest College of Nursing with great enthusiasm, honoring the dedication and invaluable contributions of nurses to the healthcare system worldwide.
The event featured Holy Quran recitation, the National Anthem, student presentations, poster and sketch competitions, a cake-cutting ceremony, and an oath-taking session for nursing students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Syed Yousaf Shah, Principal Northwest College of Nursing highlighted the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives” and emphasized the importance of quality nursing care.
Prof. Dr. Dildar Muhammad, Dean Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Khyber Medical University Peshawar attended as Chief Guest and acknowledged the vital role of nurses as the backbone of the global healthcare system.
At the same time, Prof. Dr. Sardar Mohammad Alam, Chairman Alliance Healthcare Private Limited (AHL) reaffirmed Northwest’s commitment to excellence in nursing education and clinical training.
The ceremony concluded with shield and certificate distribution among distinguished guests, faculty members, and winning students in recognition of their outstanding participation and achievements.
