Seminar on “Eradication of Quackery” held at Northwest Institute of Health Sciences (NWIHS)
Northwest Institute of Health Sciences (NWIHS) successfully organized an informative seminar titled “Eradication of Quackery” in collaboration with the Healthcare Commission Pakistan for the students of NWIHS.
Principal of NWIHS, Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, PhD, warmly welcomed the honorable guests and delivered a brief yet inspiring speech highlighting the importance of awareness, ethical healthcare practices, and the collective responsibility to eliminate quackery from society.
The seminar was graced by the presence of representatives from the Healthcare Commission Pakistan, including Ms. Atiya Munir (Inspector) and Mr. Shafeeq (Inspector), who shared valuable and informative knowledge regarding the dangers of quackery, its impact on public health, and the role of healthcare professionals in preventing illegal medical practices.
The session proved highly beneficial and educational for the students, enhancing their understanding of professional ethics and patient safety.
Principal NWIHS also extended special thanks to Ms. Zil-e-Huma, Director Operations, for her valuable assistance and efforts in organizing the seminar successfully.
