Admission Policy
Admission Criteria
Potential applicants are required to meet the following criteria for admission into the Bachelors of Nursing, Anesthesia, Medical Lab Pathology, Medical Imaging Technology (Radiology) and Doctor of Physical Therapy program:
- Minimum 50% marks for BS program and 60% marks for DPT marks in Pre-Medical Group of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination held by a recognized Board of Intermediate Education in Pakistan or O/A Level and other equivalents to HSC (Pre-medical).
- Maximum of 25 years of age, on the closing date.
- Applications from overseas candidates are invited.
- Foreign students’ admission will be as per HEC regulations.
- Students awaiting results of the Board of Intermediate / A-level Examinations are also eligible to apply.
- Note: It is the responsibility of the applicant to apply according to instructions given with the application form.
Documents to be Submitted
- Attested copy of SSC / ‘O’ Level (IBCC Equivalence) Certificate.
- Attested copy of HSC / ‘A’ Level (IBCC Equivalence) Certificate.
- Attested copy of SSC / ‘O’ Level Mark Sheet.
- Attested copy of HSC / ‘A’ Level Mark Sheet.
- Attested copy of NIC or ‘B’ Form of Applicant.
- Attested copy of NIC of 2 references.
- Attested copy of NIC of Parent(s) / Guardian.
- HSC II Admit Card in case result not. Announced
- Attested copy of NIC, Passport and educational visa for overseas applicants from foreign ministry
- Applicant’s three (3) passport size photographs
- Migration Certificate (original) from intermediate board after enrollment (Admission confirmation)
Procedure
- The admission process shall be strictly on merit basis and in a transparent manner.
- The admission process shall be conducted through an online portal
- The final merit list and admission list shall be provided to Admission Committee for review and record purpose.
- Final admission list will be made public.
- Seats will be filled strictly as per the merit list.
- Students’ admission fee will be non refundable.
Admission Process
- Advertisement for new induction and invitation for registration (Online as well as on campus)
- Activation of Admission portal through our website
- Eligibility criteria (50% marks in fsc for BS and 60% marks for DPT, KMU CAT and 18-25 years of age) are published on the website as well as portal.
- Announcement of closing date for registration keeping in view the closing date of KMU admissions.
- Formulation of merit list according to following formula
- 10% Matric, 50% FSc and 40% KMU CAT
- Publication of Merit List and short listing candidates for interviews
- Calls for interviews
- Interviews for final selection including document verification
- Registration for Admission and Submission of fees
