World Physical Therapy Day 2025 at NWIHS

Northwest Institute of Health Sciences (NWIHS) celebrated World Physical Therapy Day with great enthusiasm and spirit.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. Dr. Subham ur Rehman, Principal/ Assitant Professor NWIHS, warmly welcomed all participants. An insightful awareness presentation on Healthy Aging was then delivered by Dr. Uzair Ahmad (HOD/Assistant Professor, DPT).

The day was filled with engaging activities by our talented DPT students, including:

✅ Skit performance

✅ Poster & project presentations

✅ Cake cutting ceremony

✅ Awareness walk

Free physical therapy camp

The event concluded with inspiring closing remarks by Ms. Zille Huma (Director Operations ). Winners of the project competition were awarded cash prizes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding efforts.

The Academic Committee under the guidance of Dr. Saba and Dr. Tayyab for organizing this successful event.

Together, we highlighted the vital role of physical therapy in promoting healthy aging and well-being.
