BS Medical lab technology
The purpose of BS MLT program is to equip the graduate with knowledge, skills, Problem Solving/critical thinker power, Professionalism,Communication ability with patients and most importantly a communityhealthpromoter. At the end of the BS MLT program, Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory technology graduates will be able to apply knowledge and technical skills associated with medical laboratory technology for delivering quality clinical investigations support.
The BS Medical Lab Technology course is a four years degree programme aimed at training students in the technological spheres of Anesthesia care, with a good scientific foundation. This course ensures that students will be in a position to assist the health care provider (Anesthesiologist, Surgeon) in a professional and scientific manner. On completion of the course they will play a key role in improving the quality of health care facilities in the province, country and across the globe. With advance training in the latest technology, these students will be able to open the door of new research in anesthesia technology and ensure the safety of the patient at all times.
- At least 50% marks in FSC.
- At least 50% marks in Matric.
- Passing Marks in Admission Test.
To equip the anesthesia technologist with modern skills and latest technical knowledge to help in health care delivery system and to prepare the graduate for higher studies and research purpose.
