Fire Fighting Training in Northwest Institute of Health Sciences

Northwest Institute of Health Sciences is committed to ensure and safeguard public health by promoting environmental harmony and to minimize the hazards of coincidences. The team of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) department of NWGH organized a training session on fire fighting followed by a mock exercise. Students and faculty participated in the event.
Mr. Mukram Shah, official of OHS&E, NWGH highlighted the objectives of the session. There are three basics aims of the activity including life safety, property protection and protection of working operations. He explained that how we maintain a safe environment for our staff, students and general public. In case of fire, priority will be given to rescue the people and then protection of property and working operations.
A mock exercise was performed by the students that how they will utilize the fire extinguisher during fire emergency. Several students practically learnt the procedure of using extinguisher.
